Evaluation Design for the Lastinger Center for Learning's School Improvement Model

SRI staff are designing a study of the effectiveness of the Lastinger Center's school improvement model, which strives to foster a collaborative learning culture in schools through a variety of staff professional development activities. In collaboration with University of Florida faculty members involved in the initiative, SRI researchers are formulating a theory of change, research questions, and a proposal to conduct a multiyear evaluation. The research design will be finalized by Spring 2007. The evaluation will begin with 2007-08 school year and will be carried out in partnership with the Center and individual faculty members.
