Nyema Mitchell
Research AnalystNyema Mitchell is involved in several projects including an Evaluation of the District Initiative for Expanding Pathways, the Evaluation of Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning, and the Public Science Learning City: Middle School Science Education for the 21st Century System Design Project.
Before joining SRI, Mrs. Mitchell worked for the Science and Technology Policy Institute as a research associate. Her work included research assistance to the President's National Mathematics Advisory Panel task groups, working with National Science Foundation to provide a systematic review of the outcomes and impacts of the Department Level Reform of Undergraduate Engineering Education grants, and working the National Science Board in the development of the education section of the new Digest of Science and Engineering Indicators for 2008.
Mrs. Mitchell earned her B.A. in public policy and education studies at Brown University and her M.S. in public policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
