Catherine Hall began working at SRI on the MathLab project (now known as Math Insight) in 1999 after teaching seventh-grade mathematics in Arlington County Public Schools for 3 years. On the MathLab project, she was involved in curriculum development, programming, and user-testing of the software including numerous opportunities to present the software at conferences and instructor conventions.

Subsequently, Ms. Hall has been involved with various long-term data-collection and analysis projects such as the Evaluation of the Texas High School Project and the Evaluation of the Early College High School Initiative. Additionally, she has worked on numerous short-term projects such as the Technology Literacy Challenge Fund Online data collection project and the Ubiquitous Computing Project. She has created and modified websites and wikis for various projects and frequently has the opportunity to analyze datasets using Excel.

Ms. Hall holds a B.A. degree in mathematics and Spanish from the College of William and Mary and an M.Ed from Marymount University.
