Ron Orpitelli

Senior Research Database Coordinator

Ron Orpitelli specializes in overseeing the design and production of paper research instruments through Teleform applications, scanning completed surveys to collect responses electronically, cleaning the electronic data, and preserving it in various applications for final use by data programmers and analysts. In addition, he creates and monitors online surveys through various applications and coordinates data downloads from these sources. Studies range across the Policy Divisions’ Center for Education and Human Services, Center for Education Policy, and Center for Technology and Learning. Previous contributions to longitudinal studies include coordinating data exchange with collaborating outside vendors; preparing and managing the production, distribution, and tracking of data-gathering materials and documents; processing and verifying incoming data and surveys; and facilitating payment of honoraria and reimbursements for field assessors and study participants.

Mr. Orpitelli holds a B.S. degree in graphic design and illustration from San Jose State University.
