James Van Campen

Senior Scientific Programmer/Analyst

James Van Campen provides data processing and statistical analysis services for a variety of projects in the Center. He works with SAS, SQL Server, ASP.NET, and Visual Basic and has experience programming in C and designing databases in Access. Mr. Van Campen’s previous employers include the American Institutes for Research, where he served as a data analyst and data collection manager.

Mr. Van Campen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a master’s degree in civil engineering from San Jose State University and has attended courses at the SAS Institute. He also is a regular presenter at the Western Users of SAS Software annual conference.
