Frances Bergland
Project ManagerFrances Bergland has more than 17 years of experience providing data collection management for a variety of large-scale projects focusing on health, family, education, and students with disabilities. She has worked on the Special Education Elementary Longitudinal Study (SEELS), National Longitudinal Transition Study-2 (NLTS2), Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Educational Technology Interventions (EETI), and National Effectiveness Study of First Step to Success. For these projects, Ms. Bergland contributed to the development of web-based systems to assist project teams in tracking data and led the development and production of procedure manuals. She also has extensive experience in strategic planning, resource management, budget tracking, providing direct support to research staff in the field, and coordinating and monitoring workflow. Ms. Bergland is also a fluent Spanish speaker and has overseen the translation of qualitative data collection materials from English to Spanish, including parent consent forms.
Ms. Bergland holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Menlo College, Menlo Park, California.
