Diane Poole
Senior Application ProgrammerDiane Poole works primarily on the design and development of data collection applications, including those supporting the National Study on Alternate Assessments (NSAA) and the National Effectiveness Study of First Step to Success. Ms. Poole is the lead developer for the website of the National Behavior Research Coordination Center, and she has developed the online, web-based data collection application for the School Readiness Initiative of the Statewide Data Collection and Evaluation of First 5 California Funded Programs. Ms. Poole played a key role in the development and maintenance of the databases for the Special Education Elementary Longitudinal Study (SEELS), the National Longitudinal Transition Study-2 (NLTS2), and the Maryland Longitudinal Transition Study (MDLTS), including both FileMaker databases and an online, web-based system. She also made important contributions to the National Early Intervention Longitudinal Study (NEILS) database. Her programming expertise is in Visual Basic, dBASE, and TSQL. She has designed and created databases in MS SQL Server, FileMaker, dBASE, and Access.
